Relief for Refugees from Ukraine
About Us

My name is Mihir Relan, and I am a sophomore student at Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions. I want to study and pursue my education in medicine in the future, and my heart reaches out to those Ukrainian students whose education has been forcibly interrupted. I want to do my part and make a difference to suffering refugees from Ukraine.
My Personal Sacrifice
The personal sacrifice I am making to support Ukrainian refugees is pledging my salary from chess coaching of $50 per week to nonprofits and charities.
My name is Bianca Juarez, and I am a sophomore student at Michael E. Debakey High School for Health Professions. I want to pursue medicine because I want to make a difference by helping people through health care. I sympathize with innocent Ukrainians who face death and suffering. I want to do my part and make a difference to agonized refugees from Ukraine.
My Personal Sacrifice
The personal sacrifice I am making to support Ukrainian refugees is donating 50% of my salary from modeling coaching of $100 per week to nonprofits and charities. Furthermore, I plan to reduce my tennis lessons from 4 times per week to 2 times per week and volunteer at Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church in Houston aiding Ukrainian refugees.
